RFC 2007 Official Result Final (SS)

The Rainforest Challenge (RFC) is an adventure event with special stages along the way. Even if the adventure element is awesome, we take the special stages of competition very seriously too and will endeavour our best to award the deserving winners. We have released the results on 23 December and have received a number of protests during the grace period which we have replied accordingly.

However, on our own accord, we have also done a thorough investigation on SS1, which was not brought out during the grace period by the competitor teams. But, in the interest of fair play, we wish to highlight our findings that three teams (122, 116 and 113) have contravened the rule in SS1 (ground anchor use only). Therefore, we have disqualified them with 0 points. This decision is final.

Please excuse us for the late release of final results but then we have our priorities/difficulties with post-event operations under extraordinary times.

Anyway, there are no changes in the following classes.

1) Class A : Below 2,000cc as announced
2) Class B : 2,000 - 3,000cc petrol as announced
3) Class C : 2,000 - 3,000cc diesel as announced
4) Overall Champions Electric Winch category as announced

The only changes would be in the Open Class above 3,000cc, Overall Champion PTO and Overall Winners Standing.
