It is with great pleasure to welcome you to this webpage of the Rainforest Challenge (RFC). I am sure that by surfing this page, you are an adventurer at heart, with the love for the great outdoors.

The RFC is a tough event for the serious 4x4 enthusiasts, who love the dream of taking on a jungle adventure with all its hardship and endurance. The sweat, the mud, the rain soaked jungle, the humidity, the insects, the creatures of the night, the fellowship of men, the teamwork, the camaraderie, swollen, muddy rivers and the monsoon are all there for you to experience. On top of that, you will also taste the full splendour of cultural Malaysia. Having had all of the above, then can you say, "I have got a grip of the world."

Since its inception in 1997, the RFC has been able to attract women and men of diverse nationalities and background to meet in the rainforest and having an adventure together. This togetherness is probably the biggest 4x4 teambuilding exercise in the world. The number of participating countries keeps on growing from 7 in its debut to 23 countries in 1999 and 27 countries in 2000.

The interest in RFC has also attracted the adventure print and electronic media from North America, South America, Asia Pacific, Africa and Europe. This is also an excellent opportunity to be seen and heard while you are having the greatest time of your life.

The RFC is not for the faint-hearted, nor for the uninitiated. Only those with the passion for adventure and who are in a full state of preparation both mentally and physically will be able to make it for RFC. Are you one of us?
